Planned Parenthood Clinics offer confidential HIV and STD testing and general sexual health care. Staff can help patients develop a risk reduction plan. Clinics also provide volunteer and internship opportunities.
HIV testing is available on a walk-in basis during clinic hours. Walk-ins for HIV testing must be at least one hour before clinic closes. A name is requested, but ID is not required. Patients need to call for results.
STD testing is available by appointment only. A name is requested, but ID is not required. STD test results are given by phone or in-person 5 to 7 days after test. Patients need to call for results.
Teen Council provides peer-to-peer presentations on HIV, STDs, birth control, and decision-making skills to Duluth-area teens.
Safer sex supplies, including condoms and dental dams, are available at low cost at any Planned Parenthood location statewide, and may be requested in small quantities or in bulk. Call ahead for hours and availability.
Office and clinic hours vary throughout the week and are subject to change. Call in advance of visit for exact schedule.
Accepts most major insurance plans, including managed care plans and public assistance. Also offers a sliding fee scale for both STD and HIV testing, based on patient income and family size. For specific cost and insurance information, contact the clinic.
